HeartSkills™ Coaching (or simply HeartSkills™) is a faith-based coaching and teaching ministry that offers one-on-one HeartSkills™ coaching, facilitated small group book and Bible studies, as well as conference, workshop, retreat and keynote speaker services.
HeartSkills™' mission is to encourage, strengthen and mature individuals, couples, families, small groups, churches, businesses and other organizations in authentic love and healthy relationships. HeartSkills™’ goal is to assist in building the critical 'skills of the heart' necessary for healthy emotional self- management, safe and responsible leadership, and biblical peacemaking.
A new program of equine-assisted HeartSkills™ Coaching, partnering with our therapeutic herd to help women heal and grow through equine-assisted experiential learning.
HeartSkills™ now provides HeartSkills™ with Horses coaching services through Freedom Farm Ministries Grand Traverse. We offer equine-assisted learning activities as a stand-alone service or in combination with our one-on-one HeartSkills™ Coaching, small group studies, workshops, and retreats.
Gardening: Weekly opportunities throughout the growing season for women to come work in the Freedom Farm gardens and other land-based projects (permaculture orchards and food forests).
Community Farm Fitness: Volunteer opportunities for people in the community to work in the gardens and on the land are provided as well. Gentle, respectful prayer ministry with a skilled, caring prayer ministry team for those who need healing of all kinds.
Join us at the farm on First Friday evenings, May-October, for a gently guided meditative experience in the
serene farm environment with horses & farm critters, gardens, waterfall, and wild areas. Enjoy quiet
contemplation with choices to interact with the horses and other farm critters (chickens and bunnies coming
soon!), visit or tend the gardens, sit by the refreshing waterfall, walk/explore/observe the wild areas, journal, or
engage in individual & collaborative community art expressions. Group wrap-up sharing time (sharing is

A twice-monthly gathering in the fall for women of diverse backgrounds and experiences around the campfire in an informal, intimate setting to share our stories and listen with the heart.
